Bug, the mealworm that became a dragon. I'm finished with this pic, as inking it would destroy the shades and coloring it would be a bitch and a half (mainly tans, browns, some reds, transparency, and silver over tan that somehow looks good. The eyes would also be completely black without the mutually visible pupil, so you guys'd be loosing out). I based the toes off of an actual IRL dragon (though I put the 'thumb' fingers on the inside of this dragon. Lizards normally have thumbs on the opposite side of the hand), the tail off of a uromastyx, the wings off of a dragonfly, the eye off of a gecko, the spikes off of some type of armored dinosaur, and kept the general side-view english dragon pose to get the point across on the features (as this pic was made for a profile). So before you go telling me that the left look is out, look at the rest of my gallery. The entire picture is otherwise entirely original... Not to mention that it serves it's purpose as showing what a mealworm would look like once it becomes a dragon.

Reposted the pic because I made a few minor changes (that are probably unseen to the 5 people that looked at the pic last night).

On another note, the wings are HUGE. 27 feet long to a 6 ft high dragon. But since I was going with the insect princible, I had the wings fold up neatly like insects tend to do.

Oh, and Bug, while I never intended this, looks remarkably like my marbled gecko, Axe. It's creepy. If I made Axe a dragon, that is definately what she'd look like.
