Excluding the 'lowering myself to kissing shoes of other artists by drawing their characters/species/styles', what art would get more views and comments than not? What sort of stuff is popular these days... What types of categories in drawn/digital art is a 'bullseye' when it comes to getting people to see it?

What sorts of animals/creatures are popular? - But not so popular that no one cares to look at them anymore, like those dragons.

The reason I ask? Well, outside of the commissions I owe people I don't know what to draw. I mean, I've been doing dragons at a pretty steady pace in my gallery, but supposedly dragons are cliche now and will barely get a blip on the radar of others. Black and white sketches are another thing that I found barely if ever get a view.

What times of the day (please state your zone) is the best time to post art? I found that posting stuff at three in the morning EST gets me nothing. Or does time matter anymore, considering that people get wiped off the browse screen in less than five seconds these days.

And what, if anything, should I or shouldn't I put in the notes that may deter people from commenting?
